Overview

This article will provide instructions and links to enable the user to set up the Ackcio Beam Gateway and configure it to the proper settings to ensure a data connection between Ackcio and the Sensemetrics app.

Assembly and Setup of the Beam Gateway

Refer to the support article, Setting Up Gateway, on the Ackcio support website of assembly of the Beam Gateway and initial setup steps. This guide can be followed through the "Upload Mode" step in the Gateway Settings portion of the setup.

Navigate to the Ackcio setup application. Within the Ackcio window, click on the three dots next "Upload Mode" in the middle of the screen.

In the upload mode popup window, select the "API" check box, select the Sensemetrics logo in the "Integration" dropdown.

In the URL box type the following:

app.sensemetrics.com/api/push/ackcio 

To locate the Sensemetrics API to enter in the Ackcio application, open the Sensemetrics project that you would like to push data into from Ackcio.

1. Select "Admin" along the top selection bar.

2. Click on "Projects" on the left side of the screen.

3. Select the correct project by clicking on its name.

4. Copy the API Key from the "Project Settings" window after it is displayed.

Navigate back to the Ackcio setup page and paste the API key within the correct input box.

Continue with any additional configuration that is required per the Setting up Gateway article.

Navigating back to the "Connectivity" page within the Sensemetrics app platform, the Ackcio connection will show up under "Connections" and all associated sensors will be displayed on the "Devices and Sensors" side of the Connectivity page.
