Overview
STRANDs are equipped with a multicolor LED on the board of the device. This LED can be used to determine the current status of the Device. The LED can be located by opening the lid of the device, and the LED diode is located between the batteries on the board.
This article will cover the following topics:
Strand LED Status
Green LED: Taking readings from Sensors
STRAND is taking readings from connected Sensors.
SOLID GREEN, 3-10 SECONDS SOLID
Blue LED: Transmitting Data
STRAND is attempting to transmit data to the nearest THREAD.
SOLID BLUE, 3-10 SECONDS SOLID
Red LED: Disconnected from Network, Searching for Gateway
STRAND is NOT connected to a Thread Gateway. STRAND will continue "seeking" with this LED pattern until a Gateway connection is established or the STRAND loses power. If the STRAND's red LED is off for greater than 15 seconds, the STRAND has connection to the mesh network.
REPEATING PATTERN- SOLID RED 50 SECONDS, NO LED WITH QUICK GREEN BLINK IN MIDDLE FOR 10 SECONDS
