Overview
The Map tab allows the user to view the project site and sensors via an aerial view. It is also possible to predefine profiles with maps of specific locations, such as a dam, mine or pile. This module provides features such as Slope Stability, Layers, Assets and Images.

Map Functions
- Adds a new profile.
- Shows the sensors selected in the profile.
- These buttons adjust the map to show all added sensors and make it possible to add new ones.
- Shows the added images on the map.
- Shows the layers added to the map and their options.
- Zoom buttons, zoom in or out on the image.
- Displays the user's location map based on the IP address of the access point and opens the location search option.
- Enables or disables the slope stability module where the user can select the vector display and scale, color coding and displacement limits.
Map Projections
When creating a profile, the user must select the map projection that will be added.
There are 2 types of projections:
- Geo-referenced: This projection uses Latitude and Longitude to position the sensors on the map. This type of projection is the only one capable of using Google Earth maps.
- Undefined: Projections that use North and East values for positioning the sensors on the map. This projection is normally used when there is a specific coordinate system for a given project, where there is no direct transformation to real values.
Note: It's not possible to change the projection after the profile's creation.
Once the profile has been created and the map selected, sensors can be added and their positions determined. The process of adding sensors is similar to that of graphics. The user can then position the sensors on the map. Positioning is different depending on the type of projection selected when creating the profile, see below:
- Geo-referenced projection: Using this type of projection, geo-referenced sensors will be automatically positioned, based on their Longitude and Latitude values (decimal geodetic coordinates). Other sensors must be dragged by the left mouse button to their approximate position.
- Undefined projection: When the Undefined projection is used, the sensors must be dragged by the left mouse button to their correct position.
Sensors Information
In addition to positioning, it may be necessary to change some reading settings for sensors added to the map. This can be done using the quick info tool.
- Hovering over a sensor icon displays the Quick Info Box.
- Here you can see the last reading in detail.
- Here you can change the metric to be analyzed.
- This button removes the sensor from the selected map profile.
- These fields allow editing variation intervals.
- Check this box to save the edits made.
- This button applies the selected settings to all sensors of the same type as this one.
